Spring Bouquet Original Painting

I challenged myself to take piles of wood ash and turn them into something beautiful. I usually let my paintings develop organically, but with this series, I intentionally created botanical imagery because of its vast symbolism across cultures. I also liked the idea of depicting flowers growing from ash with masses of layers that may surprise viewers and entice them to take a closer look.
